I have always had a passion for traveling. There is something so freeing about being out on the open road. You do not have to worry about the infinite and grueling details of daily life. It is like shaking off the chains of society. There is no escape like picking up and leaving life behind.
About a year ago, my twin sister and I decided that we were going to travel around the world. Both of us have done a good amount of traveling in our lives, but nothing of this magnitude. I would compare traveling to a type of drug. Once you have it, you need more. Visiting the next state over turns into a cross-country trip. That cross-country trip turns into venturing to different countries and from there, the sky's the limit. We are blessed to live on a planet that is as diverse as the stars themselves. The only difference being that our world is within reach of us all.
So the world is calling us and we have decided that it is time to embark on the adventure of our lives. My twin and I have shared every experience from buddies in the womb, to our first steps, graduating high school and college...now we will set out on an equally daunting and exciting venture. We will circumnavigate the world together.
Join us in our preparation for this life changing journey. We leave in May, but before that there is lots of planning to do!
